Cantrell & Associates, PC was started in 1975 by L. Myron Cantrell, CPA in Smyrna, GA.\u00a0 Over the years Myron had associates that worked with him and for him. For the first 20 years, the firm concentrated in both tax and accounting work for a variety of different industries. Services provided included attest work for the City of Kennesaw and tax work for some of Cobb County\u2019s biggest real estate developers and many other successful closely held businesses. Myron eventually settled the firm in Kennesaw, GA in the 1981 where he continues to operate in the community.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In October 1995, Dustin E. Cantrell, CPA, joined the firm after 5 years with Gross Collins & Cress PC.\u00a0 He brought in a new era, with audit work, tax planning and preparation, and eventually added wealth management services in 2000.<\/p>

As the public accounting industry changed, Cantrell & Associates, PC, adapted to offer comprehensive financial advice by taking the role of a trusted independent advisor whether in the area of tax planning and preparation or financial planning and wealth management.\u00a0 We believe we have the knowledge to help business and individual clients navigate the process of making tough financial decisions with the most advantageous tax effect.<\/p>

For businesses, we can offer assistance in most any industry. Our primary expertise is assisting closely held entities and their shareholders to effectively and legally navigate complex tax laws. We help shareholders find the best path forward for both their corporate tax obligations as well as their personal tax situation. From large corporations to schedule C sole proprietorships to all of the different types of entities in between, we are here to help you determine the right steps forward.<\/p>

For individuals, we have experience handling many different tax situations from estate and trust returns, employee stock options, or other tax issues that arise as you live and grow from year to year.<\/p>

We believe that no one in public accounting can know everything. However, we will work with you to solve each and every question that we encounter in hopes of helping you reach your financial goals. We will do the research, and make the calls to consult with peers to be sure you are getting the best answers to your specific issues.<\/p>

In our role as a wealth manager, we are a fiduciary for you. We put your interests and goals first and foremost in all situations.
